Terms of service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Quilt’s websites, online store, educational content, downloadable resources, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Quilt Wellness, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Quilt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). When we offer products for sale, these Terms also apply to purchases made directly from us.
By using the Services, creating an account, downloading a resource, or placing an order after being presented with these Terms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information; it is a notice of our practices, not a substitute for consent when consent is required.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order or create a customer account. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Our Services are intended for adults.
Provide accurate, current information and keep your account and contact details up to date. Protect your login credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account activity. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account, subject to any protections provided by law. We may refuse or restrict access for fraud, misuse, security concerns, or a material violation of these Terms.
2. Prelaunch access and availability
A waitlist signup is a request for updates. It is not an order, reservation, subscription purchase, or guarantee of availability, priority access, pricing, or a launch date. We may change or discontinue a waitlist or free feature. If we offer preorders, their payment, shipment, and cancellation terms will be disclosed before purchase.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, products, and content. We will honor accepted orders, accrued rights, and legally required refunds and notices.
3. Product information and appropriate use
Read the product label, ingredient list, allergen information, directions, storage instructions, and warnings before use. Product packaging provides information specific to the product you receive. Website photographs and display colors may differ from the actual product. We work to keep product descriptions accurate and will correct material errors.
Educational content, resources, and communications from Quilt provide general information and do not create a clinician-patient relationship or replace personalized medical, nutritional, or other professional advice. Consult your own qualified healthcare professional about your individual needs, including during pregnancy or breastfeeding, when taking medications or supplements, or when managing a health condition. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking care because of our content. For a medical emergency, contact emergency services.
Our website content and resources are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Use products only as directed. Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility for an inaccurate product representation or a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Orders, prices, and payment
Prices, currencies, available destinations, shipping charges, and applicable taxes are shown during checkout. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not include shipping or taxes. Promotions apply only under their disclosed conditions.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order receipt confirms that we received your request; acceptance occurs when we confirm shipment, unless we expressly accept it earlier. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the amount disclosed at checkout and any recurring charges you separately authorize.
We may decline or cancel an order for unavailability, suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, an obvious pricing or description error, or another lawful reason. We will notify you and promptly refund amounts collected for items we cancel. If a material correction changes your order, we will seek your agreement before charging a higher amount or making a material substitution. We may impose reasonable quantity limits.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method supplied. Payment and financing providers may have separate terms. Do not send full payment-card details by email or through an ordinary contact form.
5. Shipping, delivery, cancellations, and returns
Available shipping destinations, methods, costs, and estimated timing are disclosed at checkout or in the Shipping Policy available through our store. Delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. We will provide legally required delay notices and a cancellation/refund option if we cannot ship within the promised time or the period required by law.
Provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly about address errors, missing packages, damage, or incorrect items so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate solution. Responsibility for loss and delivery problems is determined by applicable law; a carrier’s scan does not eliminate your legal rights.
The Return and Refund Policy and any specific guarantee presented with your purchase govern voluntary returns, exchanges, and satisfaction offers. Contact us at jeffrey@quiltwellness.com for help. Do not send products to our mailing address without return instructions. No store policy limits remedies for defective, unsafe, misdescribed, or undelivered goods where the law provides them. Canceling a subscription and requesting a refund for an existing order are separate actions.
6. Subscriptions and recurring orders
This section applies only if you expressly enroll in a subscription or recurring-order offer. A one-time order, waitlist signup, or resource download does not enroll you in a paid subscription.
Before enrollment, we disclose the products, recurring price and any introductory discount, billing and shipment frequency, taxes and shipping, any minimum commitment, and how to cancel. By expressly agreeing to that offer, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method at the disclosed frequency until you cancel. A promotional price applies only for the period stated in the offer.
You can cancel online through the subscription-management link or customer account supplied with your subscription. You may also contact jeffrey@quiltwellness.com for assistance. We do not require you to telephone or accept a retention offer to cancel an online subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; an order already processed remains subject to the applicable return and refund terms. Any processing cutoff will be disclosed before enrollment and in your subscription-management tools, subject to applicable law.
Where available, you can also skip, pause, or change upcoming deliveries through those tools. Deleting an account or unsubscribing from marketing does not by itself cancel a paid subscription; use the subscription cancellation method so future charges stop.
We will send the enrollment acknowledgment, renewal reminders, and price or material-change notices required by law. A price increase or material change applies prospectively only after the required notice and any required consent. If a payment fails, we may notify you, retry as authorized by your agreement and applicable law, or suspend the affected order. We do not impose an undisclosed retry fee.
7. Discounts, promotions, gifts, and referral offers
Discount codes, samples, referral offers, loyalty programs, giveaways, and other promotions, when offered, are subject to the conditions disclosed with them. Separate official rules govern a contest or sweepstakes. Eligibility, expiration, qualifying purchases, and any exclusions or limits will be stated in the applicable offer. Offers cannot be combined unless stated otherwise and cannot be obtained through fraud, false accounts, or abuse. We may end or change an offer prospectively, without reducing benefits already earned under its terms or overriding applicable law.
8. Emails, text messages, and electronic notices
When you submit a form that clearly states that submission signs you up for marketing emails, you agree to receive the described Quilt emails. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us. Marketing opt-out does not stop necessary order, account, security, or safety messages.
If we offer marketing text messages, enrollment requires the separate consent described at signup. Accepting these Terms, supplying a phone number for delivery, or subscribing to email does not by itself authorize marketing texts. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Program-specific disclosures govern message frequency, automated messaging, rates, opt-out instructions, and support.
We may provide receipts, order information, updates, and other notices electronically at the contact details you provide. This does not waive any legally required form of notice.
9. Downloadable resources and third-party tools
Unless a resource states otherwise, we give you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download, use, and adapt our guides, PDFs, templates, and prompts for your own personal and household use. You may enter the supplied prompts into the third-party tools for which they are intended. You may not resell, publicly redistribute, republish, or package the resource as your own product without our written permission.
Any signup requirement and marketing disclosure will be shown before submission. Unsubscribing later does not revoke your right to keep a lawfully downloaded copy for personal use. Free resources may be revised or removed; we do not promise perpetual hosting, updates, or compatibility with every third-party tool.
Third-party AI tools and other services have their own terms, fees, privacy practices, and limitations. They can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable results. Review their output before use, particularly food safety, allergens, dietary restrictions, and health-related recommendations. Information you choose to enter directly into a third-party tool is handled by that provider under its own policies. Do not enter another person’s sensitive information without appropriate authority.
10. Intellectual property
The Services, including our branding, page designs, text, images, videos, and resources, are owned by Quilt or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the personal-use license above, rights expressly granted with particular content, and uses permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from them without permission. No license to our trademarks is granted.
You may link to publicly available pages in a fair and lawful way that does not falsely imply endorsement, partnership, or ownership.
11. Reviews, feedback, and other submissions
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as a product review, photo, comment, or suggestion (“Submissions”). You grant Quilt a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, publish, and reasonably edit public-facing Submissions for operating, improving, and promoting the Services and products, using the name or identifier you provide with the Submission. The license is limited by applicable privacy, publicity, and consumer-protection laws and any separate written agreement. Private support messages are not public endorsements under this license.
Submit only content you own or have permission to share, including permission from identifiable people. Do not include private health information, confidential material, unlawful content, impersonations, or misleading claims. If you receive compensation, a gift, or another material benefit relevant to a review, disclose it clearly.
We may moderate content for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, irrelevant, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing material. We do not prohibit honest negative reviews or require you to waive rights protected by the Consumer Review Fairness Act. We may decline to use or publish a Submission. Separate creator, contributor, or collaboration agreements control where applicable.
12. Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to break the law, defraud others, infringe rights, harass people, distribute malware, submit false transactions, evade security controls, or disrupt our systems. Do not collect personal information about other users or access accounts without authorization. Automated access must respect applicable law, published access restrictions, and reasonable technical limits; it must not impair service or bypass access controls.
13. Third parties and Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes customer information to provide store functionality and enhanced services, including services supported by information from interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. Information submitted to the store is shared with Shopify and relevant service providers, which may be in other countries. See our Privacy Policy, Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers), and Shopify’s Privacy Portal (https://privacy.shopify.com/en) for more information and available choices.
Purchases directly from this store are made with Quilt. Shopify supplies the commerce platform and is not the seller of our products. Links, embedded content, payment options, social platforms, and other third-party services are subject to the relevant provider’s terms and policies. We are responsible for our own obligations and do not control third-party services.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND FREE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE ACCESS, THAT THIRD-PARTY TOOLS WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE, OR THAT GENERAL EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION WILL SUIT EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
This section does not disclaim an express product warranty or guarantee we provide, excuse false or misleading statements, or remove any statutory product warranty or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions limit warranty exclusions; those limitations apply.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUILT AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID QUILT FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, liability for defective products that cannot lawfully be limited, or any other liability or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They do not restrict your right to seek a legally required refund or statutory relief.
16. Responsibility for unlawful submissions and misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Quilt against third-party claims and reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent caused by your unlawful or rights-infringing Submissions, fraud, or intentional misuse of the Services. This obligation does not cover claims caused by Quilt’s own wrongdoing or your lawful use of a product. We will notify you of a covered claim, allow reasonable participation in its defense, and will not agree to a settlement that imposes an admission or nonmonetary obligation on you without your consent.
17. Suspension, termination, and events beyond our control
We may suspend or terminate access reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these Terms. Where practicable and appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the problem. Termination does not remove rights or obligations arising before termination, eliminate a required refund, or prevent you from exercising privacy rights.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or widespread network disruption, to the extent permitted by law. This does not excuse payment refunds, safety duties, shipment-delay notices, or other obligations the law requires us to perform.
18. Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Subject to your mandatory consumer rights and any right to use an eligible small-claims court, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you and Quilt consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of a nonwaivable right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class proceedings.
Before filing a claim, you may contact jeffrey@quiltwellness.com so we can try to resolve it. Informal contact is not a condition that prevents a timely claim, emergency relief, or a complaint to a regulator.
19. Changes and general terms
We may revise these Terms and will post the revised version with its updated date. We will provide additional notice and seek agreement where required. Changes apply prospectively; the version and specific offer presented with an accepted order govern that order unless you agree otherwise. Continued use after revisions take effect may indicate acceptance where permitted by law, but is not a substitute for express consent where required.
These Terms and any applicable offer-specific terms are the agreement about the Services. Specific product, subscription, promotion, or return terms disclosed for a transaction control over a conflicting general provision for that subject. The Privacy Policy controls descriptions of personal-information handling. Mandatory law always controls.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your contractual obligations without our consent except as permitted by law. Quilt may transfer these Terms in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the relevant business, provided your existing contractual and privacy rights remain protected. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination do so.
