Privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Quilt Wellness, Inc. (“Quilt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Quilt’s websites, online store, waitlist, educational resources, and related services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information and the choices available to you. Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you or your household.
This policy covers the Services and our communications with you. It does not cover another company’s independent websites or services. Product-order, account, subscription, review, and promotion provisions apply when you use those features. Advertising provisions describe the channels and technologies we may use when enabled, subject to applicable consent requirements and your choices.
1. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on your interaction with us. It may include the following:
Contact and account information: your name, email, phone number, mailing, billing and shipping addresses, customer-account identifiers, login information handled by our account provider, and preferences you provide.
Waitlist, resource, and marketing information: your signup details, the form or resource version you select, subscription status, consent and opt-out records, and interactions with our emails, links, and campaigns. Our resource forms may associate your email with the resource you requested.
Order and payment information: products viewed or purchased, cart contents, order and subscription history, fulfillment and return information, payment status, and limited payment details supplied by payment providers. Payment providers process card details and other payment credentials; do not send these to us by email.
Communications and content: messages, support requests, reviews, survey responses, photos or other material you choose to submit, and records of how we respond. If you voluntarily include health-related information in a support message, we receive that information too. Our ordinary waitlist and resource forms ask for an email address, not medical history.
Device and activity information: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, cookie or device identifiers, referring links, page and resource activity, timestamps, and shopping and site interactions. Similar technologies in emails may tell us whether a message was opened or a link clicked, where used and permitted.
Preferences and related inferences: preferences you tell us, or non-sensitive shopping and content interests derived from your interactions, for service improvement and relevant recommendations. Health-related information receives the treatment described in Section 6.
You may choose not to provide information. Some information is needed to deliver a download, answer a request, complete an order, or provide another feature you request.
2. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you; automatically from your device through cookies and similar technologies; from Shopify and providers operating the Services; and from payment, delivery, marketing, advertising, social-media, and referral partners when you interact with their services or campaigns involving Quilt. For example, a shipping provider may supply delivery status, or an advertising platform may supply campaign attribution. We combine information across these sources when permitted and consistent with this policy and your choices.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to operate and improve the Services; maintain accounts and preferences; deliver requested resources; manage the waitlist; process payments, orders, recurring subscriptions, returns, and customer support; and send receipts, delivery information, security notices, and product-safety communications.
We also use information to send the marketing communications described at signup; understand content and campaign performance; personalize shopping and general content recommendations; conduct promotions and referral programs when offered; detect fraud and abuse; secure our systems; maintain business and consent records; exercise or defend legal rights; and comply with law.
When we use advertising platforms, we use information for advertising, remarketing to previous visitors or customers, audience matching, finding audiences with similar general shopping interests, measuring conversions, and assessing campaign performance, subject to the safeguards and choices below.
We may use aggregated or deidentified information for business analysis. When information is treated as deidentified under applicable law, we maintain it in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it except as the law permits.
4. Who receives information
We disclose personal information as necessary for the purposes described in this policy to:
Service providers: Shopify and providers supporting hosting, customer records, email delivery, communications, payment processing, subscription management, fulfillment and shipping, returns, analytics, fraud prevention, security, professional services, and business administration. Access depends on the service being provided.
Advertising and measurement partners: when we use their services, platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and YouTube), TikTok, and similar advertising, social-media, or measurement providers. The types of information and choices are described in Section 5.
People or services you select: for example, when you request a delivery, post a public review, or use an external service. A review or other public submission can be seen by others; do not include information you want to keep private.
Professional advisers, authorities, and others where appropriate: to obtain legal, accounting, insurance, or other advice; comply with a valid legal obligation or process; address fraud or security issues; protect people’s safety and rights; and resolve disputes. We assess requests and disclose information as permitted or required by law.
Business successors and transaction participants: in connection with a potential or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of relevant assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality, applicable law, and protections for your information.
We may also disclose information for another purpose you specifically request or consent to. Sensitive information is subject to additional restrictions. A general description of sharing does not replace a consent or authorization required by law.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, and similar technologies to support the store, remember choices, provide security, understand usage, and, when enabled, measure and deliver advertising. Necessary technologies support functions such as security, consent records, cart operations, and checkout. Optional technologies may support analytics, personalization, and advertising.
When we use Meta, Google, TikTok, or similar services, information may be collected through browser pixels or tags and through server-to-server integrations. This can include device identifiers, IP address, general browsing or shopping events, referring information, and conversion information such as an order value. Where permitted and consistent with your choices, we may provide contact information such as an email address in a hashed form for customer matching, campaign measurement, or audience creation. Hashing changes the format; it does not necessarily make the information anonymous.
These partners may associate information with an account you hold with them, combine it with activity from other businesses or devices, and process it under their own privacy notices. We do not exchange personal information for money. Certain advertising disclosures, including through Shopify’s enhanced services, can nevertheless be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under state privacy laws.
Use the “Your Privacy Choices” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available through the store to make applicable advertising-sharing choices. The Shopify-powered opt-out page is located at Your Privacy Choices on our store domain. You can also contact us at jeffrey@quiltwellness.com. Where a cookie banner or privacy-preferences control is available, it lets you accept, decline, or change optional cookie choices. We obtain consent before optional tracking where required by law.
Where required by law, we recognize Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising for the browser and device transmitting it. When we can associate the signal with your account, we apply it as required to that account. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals do not currently have a uniform implementation that our store follows.
You may also manage cookies in your browser and advertising settings with the relevant provider. Clearing cookies, changing browsers, or using a new device may require you to reset choices. Cookie blocking alone may not stop server-side sharing. Declining targeted advertising does not remove all ads, including contextual ads.

6. Health-related information and educational resources
Quilt publishes women’s nutrition and wellbeing content. Reading an article or requesting a general resource does not mean that we know your health status. Our standard waitlist and download forms do not request a diagnosis, pregnancy status, treatment details, or medical records.
If you voluntarily provide health information to ask for support or report a product concern, we use it to address that request, investigate safety issues, and meet related legal obligations. Do not send unnecessary medical records or another person’s sensitive information.
We do not use health information from support communications for advertising audiences or provide it to advertising platforms. Health-related inferences and disclosures may have additional legal protections. We obtain any specific consent required for collecting or sharing protected health information beyond providing a service you request. If a separate consumer-health notice applies to a particular feature, we provide it with that feature.
Our downloadable guides may explain how to use independent AI tools. When you enter information directly into a third-party AI service, that provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Downloading a Quilt PDF does not itself send the personal information you later enter into an independent AI tool to Quilt. Review the provider’s privacy settings before supplying sensitive information.
7. Our relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts our store and processes personal information to provide and improve the Services. Information submitted to the store is transmitted to Shopify and relevant providers, including providers outside your country.
We use Shopify features powered by Shopify Network Intelligence. These enhanced services use information about interactions with our store together with information from other merchants and Shopify to support features such as personalization, analytics, performance, and advertising. Shopify acts as an independent controller or business for certain processing connected with these enhanced services and its own consumer services, rather than solely as Quilt’s service provider.
Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy explains these activities: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers. You can exercise available choices directly with Shopify through https://privacy.shopify.com/en. Requests about information Quilt controls should also be sent to us; a request to one company does not necessarily resolve every separate processing activity of the other.
8. Email, text, and communication choices
Waitlist and resource forms explain the emails associated with submission. You may unsubscribe from Quilt marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by writing to jeffrey@quiltwellness.com. We retain enough suppression and consent information to respect your choice and document compliance. You may still receive necessary nonmarketing order, account, security, or safety messages.
If we offer a text-message program, the signup notice will describe that program and request the required separate consent. Providing a phone number for delivery or accepting general website terms does not alone subscribe you to marketing texts. Follow the program’s STOP and HELP instructions, where offered, or contact us for assistance. Message frequency and any carrier charges are disclosed with the program.
9. Retention and security
We retain information for the time reasonably needed for the purposes described here. The period depends on whether you have an active account or subscription; whether an order, support matter, dispute, or safety issue is open; legal and tax-record requirements; security and fraud-prevention needs; and retention obligations for consent and opt-out records. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to applicable legal exceptions and appropriate backup-management processes.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and risks involved. No system or transmission method is completely secure. Use secure channels for sensitive matters and contact us if you believe information has been compromised.
10. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to know whether we process your information; access information and details about its collection, use, and disclosure; receive a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; withdraw consent; limit certain sensitive-information uses; or opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling with significant effects.
California residents whose information is subject to the CCPA have the rights described above, including applicable rights to know the categories and specific pieces of information collected, the categories of sources and recipients, purposes of use, and categories sold or shared. Sections 1–5 describe these categories, sources, purposes, and recipients; Section 9 explains retention criteria. Not every listed category is collected from every visitor. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law and the processing involved.
To submit a request, email jeffrey@quiltwellness.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line or write to the address below. Use the store’s privacy-choice link for advertising opt-outs. You do not need to create an account to make a request.
We may verify identity before disclosing, correcting, or deleting information, using information reasonably related to the request. An authorized agent may act where allowed by law; we may ask for proof of authority and any permitted identity verification. We do not require identity verification for a browser-level sale/sharing opt-out beyond what the law permits.
We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted denial or extension. If a right to appeal applies, email us with “Privacy appeal” and the original request details. We will review the appeal and provide the required response and information about contacting the appropriate regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising a privacy right.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising, or carry out profiling that produces legal or similarly significant decisions about consumers.
11. International visitors
Quilt is based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with privacy laws different from yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the legally required arrangements. We do not treat your use of the site as consent to a transfer where a different legal mechanism is required.
If data-protection law in the EEA, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction applies to your information, we process it on the legal basis relevant to the activity: fulfilling a contract or requested precontractual steps; compliance with law; our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the Services where those interests are not overridden by your rights; or consent where required, including for applicable marketing and optional tracking. You may have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing, and complain to your local supervisory authority.
12. Children
Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can address it, including deletion where appropriate.
13. Third-party links and public platforms
External websites, social-media platforms, embedded media, and independent tools have their own privacy practices. This policy does not control information you provide directly to them. Public reviews and social posts may be visible and copied by others; use care when deciding what to share.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services or practices change. We will post the revised version, change the date above, and give additional notice or obtain consent when required. We will not apply a material new use retroactively when the law requires a separate choice. Contact us with questions about a change.
